Default Do Parts from LS6 interchange with LS3?

Im gettin ready to put in a forged 418 LS3. Will my intake and accessories, oil pan and whatever else be a direct fit?

Lots of posts on here about it. Intake won't fit L92 heads. All front accessories fit, oil pan fits, starter fits. Need sensor wire extension kits for cam sensor, map sensor and knock sensors. No issues on the back. Decide on Trickflow, AFR or L92 heads then pick your intake....

Ok so then if I were to go with L92 heads then I cant use my ls6 stuff...it doesnt take me too long...LOL
Im pulling the trigger Monday or Tuesday and going with a 418 ls3 forged setup so I can turn the boost up and not worry so Im full of questions.

if you are going to add a blower, or turbo. I wouldnt do stock ls6 heads. id do stock L92 heads, or something bigger than 243 heads. you want your compression low. like 8.5

maybe look into LS7 heads. they flow a ton, even for stock and are good for high RPMs....right where FI shines

I totally agree with you but my budget is 8300 because I refuse to charge on credit so with the 418 forged setup Im getting and all the labor for install and changin parts over, tuning, dyno and whatever stuff comes up....well I just wont have the money till later so
I am just putting in a blower cam and the heads can be done later...yes I hate it but I only went in for a head/cam change and wanted to up the boost and now this.

You'll also need an LS3 valley cover, timing chain cover, and LS3 type knock sensors which you have to drill and tap holes for.
