I had a question, when driving does traction control change the perf of the vehicle, or just adjust when the wheels begin to spin? With that in mind is it better to drive with t/c off, or on?

Love the S/C vette!!!!
Just when tires spin.
Till you get used to the new power drive with it on.
If the on board computer senses that the rear tires are moving faster than the front, torque management comes in with a huge power curve and swipes all power. You can stomp on it all you want but it wont budge. Power will gradually come back to try to get the wheels not to spin. All this happens in just a few seconds. This is particularly dangerous in wet conditions. If you happen to pull out in front of someone, you can stop on it and it wont budge.
Just keep in mind that if you get sideways, the yaw control won't straighten you out with traction control turned off. Just in case you didn't know, you can hold the traction control button down for about 10 seconds and go into performance mode. It kills the traction control, but keeps the rest to help straighten you out if you get out of control.

So in performance mode (traction control turned off), the active handling won't straighten you out?
