I am painting the calipers on my '03 Annie and was wondering what everyone's opinion was on painting the caliper brackets or not...I am undecided on whether I should paint them at the same time and if it should be the same color as the calipers(50th Anniv.Red) or maybe black or just leave them unpainted but give them a good cleaning.
What are your opinions?
Also, if you guys out there had some pics of YOUR painted calipers with the brackets painted or not painted, I would love to see them.
Go to thepowdercoater.com and look at his pics for calipers. This will last a lot longer than paint. He did mine and everyone loves the look of the yellow with the black letters. He's a member here on the forum. Excellent work
I would paint the brackets with something (either black or AE red) otherwise it will stand out as looking unfinished when you have a freshly painted portion right next to it.
