Default Revised PowerLoader programming works great!!!

When we received the original PowerLoader II it was too intrusive on downshifting and holding too long before up-shifts. Steve Cole said send it back and he would correct it.

While it took "too long", (overnight would have been too long!), it really works great and was worth the wait!!!

Thanks to Steve Cole of TTS for his programming capabilities and Customer Support, as well as Matt of Exit28MotorSports for their support.

The PowerLoader II really wakes up our C5 and improves the A4 shifting, quick and hard.

:D

I have been waiting since Oct. for Steve to reprogram my PL. How long did you wait?
Thanks,
Terry

Our unit was originally received in August. We had some issues with it and returned it in November. Just got it back on January 5th or so.

It was worth the wait. It really does a great job with performance and the A4 shifting and responsiveness.

Just hang in there, it will be worth the wait!

Just curious why do the 3 people who are really happy with there unit get a defective one ,sent it back and the were ultra satisfied.Steves Rep is tops he sure sounds overloaded does that make him more prone to error.

Our issue was not with errors, but more changes in shifting patterns than we wanted to live with. Most of the other A4 owners like Steve's basic changes, We asked him to modify it uniquely for us!

His product worked as advertised, we just didn't want quite that much downshifting and holding in gear.

Great product in either form!

David, surely working for a tuner you should know that tuning a PCM for a car that is not in front of you on a dyno can be very difficult. Sometimes it takes an extra revision to get a program tweaked to produce the results that both the programmer and the customer desire. Unfortunately for each tweak of the program you are looking at shipping the programmer back and forth which can definitely take time.
