Tire rack told me that I have to use the same type of tire all the way around. So if I go with the Nitto 555R (which the rack doesn't carry) I have to put them on the front too. Somthing about the friction diffrence. What do you guys think?
Having the same make and quality of tires on both axles is a good idea and standard practice for the street and the track. :yesnod:
Different make/quality of tires will have different performance characteristics, and mixing tires on your car can could upset the "normal" balance of your car, especially when pushed to the adheashion limits of the tire. :) Of course Tire Rack will not and should not recommend some combination of tires that potentially could cause problems for you. :D
