I have this box in my 98 coupe. Fits well, sounds better. I could get the amp/sub info I used if your interested. Just can't remember off the of top my head.
I like that sub box. It's pretty much the only option if you don't want to lose your trunk space. It's just like mine but yours has a reces where the speak is. I like that better since it will protect your speaker a little bit.
Go with a JL 500/1 mono amp and a 12W3 or 12w0 This will give you better sound and will look like a respectable set up, as well as give you a lot more knock. Limit yorself to 500watts rms. I had a 13.5w7 and a 1000rms amp and almost needed a set of depends when I turned it up as I thought my back glass was going to break.

Agree with earlier post: doesn't take much in the small cabin of the corvette to feel like your sitting inside the sub box.
