CF Intake Cover Installation
Just purchased a new Carbon Fiber intake cover and was planning on installing this weekend. Anyone install one of these ? What is the difficulty level of this job. I was reading through some of the instructions I got online from the manufacturer - and it states to Depressurize the system by removing the fuel tank cap - disconnect the negative battery cable - install a pressure release style fuel pressure gauge onto the fuel rail pressure test port and place a bleed hose into a fuel safe container, open the valve on the gauge bleeding the system pressure - then remove the fuel rail. No need to remove the fuel feed line. I'm assuming the fuel feed line is the bar that runs across the top of the intake from one cover to the other. Are all these steps necessary ? Tell me what you think.
