Default Drivetrain stand plans?

Anyone know where I can get the plans to build a drivetrain stand like this?

http://www.corvettefever.com/howto/c.../photo_21.html

In the book it says that Wheel to Wheel Powertrain has them, but they closed down. I emailed Motorcity Speed (where most of the Wheel to Wheel guys went), but still have got no response.

Doesn't look like something you need plans for. Just take some measurements to you hit all four points. For the TT height, you could put the tube in a sleeve, set your drivetrain on it, slide it into place and weld it up.

I know we aren't supposed to revive old threads but does anyone have plans? I don't have a lift yet but will be buying one soon. I'd like to have the drive train stand ready.

Or even dimensions would be great. The car is down, stuck in the trailer for the moment, and it will be a big project to get it out and into my shop, just to measure the lift points.

I ended up doing as Brett suggested and just doing my own measurements and tacking it together under the car on the lift.

Worked great and has been used MANY times since.

S.U. Vette,
That is a great set up.

That is soooo sweet.

I think it would be nice to have another Tube (spliced into the inside) of the main tube to either extend or contract the total length of stand to accomodate just the complete drive train (Minus the motor).
Another words a multi fuctional jig/stand.

Yeah, I missed that when I first built it. I have a jack stand that sits on there perfectly and works the same way.
