I just used keywords "c5 corvette front spring removal procedure" on the internet and came up with a bunch of possibilities.

Just copy and paste those exact keywords into browser address window and click enter.

Hint...look for one from LS1howto...

I just did this job a few weeks ago when I installed coilovers. It isn't hard and I didn't have to remove the a ball joint or the lower control arms.

1. Get the front end up about 15" in the air (nice jack stands will get you there no problem).
2. Remove the wheels of course.
3. Remove the upper sway bar end link at each end, you don't need to remove the bar, just loosen the ends. Use a floor jack to take tension off the hardware. You'll know when you do because removal is real easy then.
4. Remove the brake caliper from the abutment and zip tie it to the brake hose braket on the frame rail. This becomes clear later.
5. Remove the shocks. Take the top nut loose first then remove the lower two bolts.
6. Remove all 4 upper A-arm bolts. A jack under the lower arm will aide this as well.
7. Then lower the front assembly that has been supported by the floor jack.
8. You can now remove the brackets that hold the leafspring in place. You might need to turn the leafspring bumper all the way up or remove it all together.
9. Once both sides have all this done you should be able to remove the leafspring from one side or the other.

This process worked just fine on my '01 Z.

Did that last weekend changing out stock for Z06, works just like goody says. Have fun getting the new spring rubbers to seat in the groove, gets a little hairy when you jack up both sides to relive the arc to get them in.

OK, do this because pulling shocks and sway bar links is a lot of wasted effort.

Jack it up on stands, 15" or so as stated above

take off one wheel

put the jack under the spring in the Y of the lower A-arm and lift until the car is ready to come up off the stands

mark the lower a-arm bolts so you'll get them back in the same location

remove the lower a-arm bolts

pull the lower a-arm out so it's above the spring.

remove the 4 bolts that hold the spring to the sub-frame

drop the jack and take the spring out

install in the reverse of the remove.
