white hood insulator
a recent post I read about a member that had painted his hood insulator white, need find this post again and see how the insulator is holding up,,, thanks for any info

The best way would be to do a search. After reading his post, I took mine off and painted it blue; as I have an Electron Blue. I re-painted the emblem and I must say it was easier this time with about 3 coats of paint on it. In fact, it is really stiff and I guess will hold up quite a while. I did use a brush instead of spray. I just went to Lowes and picked a quart of paint that came close to EB. This is the second one I've done and was just experminting as I have a second one for shows. I'm going to leave it on and see what happens. With it being fabric there are no brush marks, it just keeps soaking in until about the 3rd coat. I think the white looks better tho...
