What springs to use and which springs ride the most comfortable? I had 2" springs on my GT and it rode like CRAP! I dont want that. I would rather have it sit higher than have it sit low and be bumpy.

Any suggestions???
Unless you are talking about converting your C5 to coilovers (big $$), you don't use "springs" to lower it. Look under your car. No springs, just two composite leafs. Go to the tech tips section of the forum or do a search. You'll find enough reading material to keep you busy for hours.
I used the RK Sport bolts with urethane bushings to lower mine in the rear. I used a 10mm socket to lower the front. ;)
Re: Wanting to lower my car. Help. (Drop_Top_Dave)
Yeah... I knew that! :D
Does it ride the same?? OR does it ride rougher than before? that is my main concern. I'll do what I have to do to get it lower, but I dont want it riding like a German tank.
My experience: Lowering without cutting or removing bolts didn't get the car down low enough to look really cool, but the lower it went, the harsher the ride! The smooth-riding car I bought was no longer comfortable to drive. Every pot hole and bridge transition the car hit made it feel like I was bending the front wheels. And the back end bounced up and down like a buckboard. So... I put the bushings back on the rear bolts and raised the car up some. Much better, and it actually still looks lowered. If I had it to do over again, I would only lower it as much as the stock bolts allow, with no cutting of the bushings.
Lowered mine last week as far as the stock bolts would let me. 3/4" front and 1" in back. The stance of the car is better, the handling improved and it didn't affect the ride at all. (I have F45)
Try it, you can always return it to stock just as easily.
Also keep in mind that after you lower the car, it commonly takes a few miles for the car to "settle". When I first lowered mine I looked at it and thought "That sure didn't make much of a difference." After I drove it for a day, it looked much lower.

Fivo Killer,
Like your handle. Definitely a difference in ride when I lowered mine and if I select perf vice tour it gets harsher. Needless to say I'm okay with that because I like the lowered look and most of my driving is on the interstate. All that being said there are a few things you can do to extend the shocks for a little more travel. You can turn the rear/top shock mounts over, they are currently concave (pointing toward the ground), turn them over making them convex and you get some extension back. You can also elongate the bottom hole which will give you some more extension as well. Both of these actions will allow the shock to extend more and therefore not "bottom out". Can't remember who I got the info from on this but is was from a vendor/user on the CF. Have I tried it - no, but just have not got around to it yet, will be doing the top mount later this month.
