Does anybody know if the stock C5 stereos are ipod compatible. Is there an Ipod connnection in the back of the stereo where I could hook up to my ipod for now until I am capable of upgrading my stereo. Thankx
Others will probably chime in at some point, but if you want quick answers check out the Audio/Electronics section. There's a C5 FAQ plus you can search out your question; it's been asked many times.
Do a search on "IPOD Interface" and you will find out everything you need to know.
There is an interface kit from Best Buy that is about $100 that has verything you will need. If you are hooking up behind the radio, you will need to buy a special adapter cable to plug everything up. If you have a CD changer in the back the adapter is not neccessary as the interface plugs into the cable for the CD. The CD changer is no longer useable when the Ipod is installed - either up front with the adapter or at the CD cable.

In the manner that you're talking about, no. There is no direct iPod hookup or connector on the back of the C5 stereo. You have to use an aftermarket adapter box, and if your stereo had a CD Changer you'll lose that in lieu of being able to use your iPod.
