HID Headlight malfunction
I installed an HID kit on my 02. It has a ballast for each headlight. Sometimes when I turn them on they will not ignite. If I go under the hood and jiggle the main power wire, they will flash like they are trying to light and eventually do. Checked all connections and all are tight. Do you think it is the ballast? Any ideas please, Thanks.

Be sure your grounds are good and clean I had same issue but only one did not fire. Try turning on the lamps using the switch then push the high beams on for about 5 sec. then back to low beams and see if they fire then. mine do fire every time i do this. I use the headlight sentenial (automatic turn on function). The fix for that issue is to get the wiring kit with the relay. this powers the headlamps directly from the battery, i ordered mine from http://shop.jwmotoring.com/product.s...4&productId=27
he is a supporting member of the CF I have no relation with them, thats just where i got mine from. Please note I have not yet installed the relay kit yet but I do know this will fix the issue. past exp. Good luck
