If you are not going to be doing highway driving you can use the 3:73's. I put 3:42's in my vert because I do a lot of highway driving and I have enough power to pull them. Gas mileage will suffer with the 3:37's.

Personally I would go with 342 and change the stall. This leaves you room to grow in the power area.

I have 2 ls1 cars, one with 3.73's and one with 3.42's.

Personally, I think 3.42 is fine for most street use. Get a TC installed at the same time to save on labor.

My recommendation, Yank SS3200 with 3.42 gears.
Although the car with Yank SS3600 and 3.73 is pretty fun too.
