Diff and torque converter change
Once I change from the 2.73 gears to 3.42 and change the torque converter. Do I have to have the shift points changed? I have a predator and have installed the latest software, is that good enough?

Yes, you need to input the new gear ratio into the PCM. I know nothing about the Predator, I used the HP Tuner hand set. When I entered the new gear ratio into the tuner, it automatically changed the shift points. 
I just massaged them to be a little more agressive and shortened the shift times.

The speedo will be correct however you'll need to adjust all the shift points--both at WOT and at Part throttle (TCC as well)--Don't know if your predator will do this correctly---ALSO more importantly you will need to do a few things because of the stall converter installation--Most all of these would require a full tuner like EFILIVE or HPTUNERS---otherwise you'll get annoying codes and/or your car will go into limp mode or reduced power mode---can also make it bounce in/out of converter lock-up--

You will also have to retune for your TC. Diablo will provide this whit a custom tune VIA Email, free of charge.
I recommend that you have them remove lockup in 3rd gear, it will work much better smother and you wont get codes.
