Default K-Harness question.

Hello people. I did a search and read the sticky but couldn't find what I am looking for so any help would be appreciated.

I purchased a K-harness and am just wondering where and how to install it.

A little background:

2000 MN6 with the recall done. I get "Pull Key Wait 10 Seconds", Steering wheel does not lock, brand new battery, car stalls out (fuel shut off), car sat idle for about a year before I decided to replace the clutch and get it going again (I also have a 2003 so I wasn't in too much of a rush to get my other baby back on the road :o (I feel shame)).

Thank you for any help.

Why would you buy the K-harness? Take it back and buy the column lock bypass instead. Do it right away!!

The Harness K and aftermarket CLB relays install in the same place.
You have to remove the panel below the steering column, disconnect the column lock actuator, and plug the Harness K kit into those two connectors. The Harness K kit keeps the actuator in the circuit, and the aftermarket CLB just plugs into the main wiring harness and leaves the actuator connector disconnected.
There are instructions on the forum on how to remove the panels and identify the correct connector. You want to be careful not to mess with the air bag connector and accidentally cause it to deploy.

I would but the car is from Indiana and I don't think that it would be worth the trip.
