horn will not blow
when i bought my c5 in 3 o7 the horn would sometimes blow from the sterring wheel it got to where it doesnt work unless u set the alarm or lock the doors any help thanks gorghamak

I had the same thing and the dealer just had to adjust the pad. Seems that with the air bag set up they can be a bit finickey. With mine if I pushed it down side ways if would work. Mine is a 99.

I believe the BCM controls the horn, therefore the steering wheel switches go to the BCM which in turn, commands the horn relay. If the horn is working with the alarm, that implies that all of the wiring and relays to it are working. You are left with the horn switch under the airbag.

My horn would work with the alarm, but not the pad. Problem was the wire had fallen off the contact under the pad. I didn't want to fool around with the air bag so I had Andy at A&A do it when he was adding the Vortech.
