vararam ? does any one have it
i asked this awile back not to many responces so here i go again does any one have a vararam intake system on there c5 thank JV :cool:

Do a search on vararam both in current topics and archived topics and you will find tons of posts but no one have the vararam system installed, have seen it installed in a car or seen any dyno runs proving the claimed 32hp.

It seems to me that alot of people on this forum run the Vortex system and are very happy with it. Vortex claims 22 HP on a dyno plus more at speeds above 35MPH with a reduction of .35 ET and an increase of 5 MPH in the 1/4 mile.
I don't know, maybe they are both full of :bs
Lets wait until the product is available and tested before we make a judgement. Like any new product, there are certain delays in production (I've been on the list for a Hurst shifter forever). :seeya

I think it's gonna be a great system but.....we need a first-hand evaluation asap.

YES, I HAVE A PROTOTYPE VARARAM SYSTEM BEING INSTALLED ON MY CAR NOW. THERE HAVE BEEN SOME ISSUES WITH GASKETS AND SEALERS FOR THE PRODUCTION ONE, BUT I SHOULD HAVE IT IN HAND WITHIN A WEEK.
IT IS EASY TO SEE THAT YOU WOULD DEFINITELY GET AN INCREASE IN HP DUE TO THE LOW RESTRICTION ON THE AIR CLEANER AND THE LARGE INTAKE SCOOP.
AS SOON AS I GET THE PRODUCTION MODEL IN, DYNO TESTING WILL ENSUE AND I SHOULD HAVE SOME NUMBERS IN A WEEK OR TWO.
