Going back to the track sunday, want to change the trans fluid before I do when I change the oil. What kind of fluid should I put in there? I have used gm syncromesh in my old mr2 turbos with great results. Anyone use this, what weight?

Mods, please delete. When originally created the thread didn't show up and wasn't found, I thought I did something wrong. Then the second one did same thing. Must have been a malfunction of the forum.
Our transmissions require ATF. Prior to 2001, C5s used paper blocker rings, not all synthetic ATFs are compatable. Mobil 1 ATF is NOT compatable. I use Amsoil ATD, Amsoil ATF is okay also.
Many of the guys here use the GM syncromesh and like it.
I've had it in my '00 for about a year, and it just seems a bit
harder to pull the gear lever through; no syncro or shift issues, just
kinda tight, even when moving sideways thru the neutral gate.
think I'll try the Royal Purple syncromax or the Amsol as mentioned above.
