Some rear gear questions
Well i have always been an A4 guy with my f-body so i was always more concerned with stall size instead of gear size. Anyways, now i'm into a mn6 99 c5 and love it. I would like to toss some gears out back to improve the performance. Considering i have the mn6 trans, i think i will opt for the 4.10's. What type of gains on the strip are simple bolt on cars seeing with the change from 3.42's to 4.10's? Also, how would you compare the m12 trans on stock gears to the mn6 trans on 4.10's? With this gear swap, will i have a gearing advantage now over a z06 or will i still be behind? i am aware i will still be back in the power department, but where would i stand gearing wise compared to a z06's stock setup? Thank you!

ok sounds good, So therefore a mn6 + 4.10 set-up will have an advantage over a z06 as far as gearing goes? Great deal. Now lets compare the mn6+ 3.90's vs stock z06 gearing. All the same, but whats the difference in 4th?
