Default fuel pump

I had a post a few days ago, stating that my (<5000 miles) Racetronic fuel pump was starting to get "loud" (I can head a "hissing type noise like fuel spraying under pressure at idle from inside) I cahnged the filter, just to see if it would help, and therre's no change.
1.Is this a good pump, or is there somthing ewse that might last a little longer?
2.Can I buy just the pump, since I have all of the wiring harness etc?
3. How can you contact these guys? I went to a website, but there is no contact info
Thanks

I've never heard of "Racetronic", so I assume you mean "Racetronix". I believe the pump they sell is just an LPE unit, so yes, it is a good one. Yes, you can just buy the pump, and it does not have to be from them. My guess is, they would rather have you go through their distributors(which they do post contact information for), than contact them directly.

Yea, typed a c instead of an x. Laptops are not really that good to actually use in your lap.
The only ones I've found so far, are either in the $350.00 range and offer no option to purchase separately, or will only support 500fwhp.
I would have liked to contact them to see if I could possibly be doing something wrong on the install (as well as vent a little). It doesn't make sense that a "premium" aftermarket pump last for 4000 miles, and a stock one last for 100,000 +.
If you look over on the LS1 tech side, it appears that these pumps are "dropping like flies"
I actually wish there was a reasonably priced alternative to it

They used to use a Walbro pump in their kits...back when I had a C4. I believe Walbro pumps are real common and should be readily available for a lot less money!

I wonder if they will support my hp?
The one on the LPE website says it will support 600hp, and if that is fwhp, then technically, when I'm spraying, I'm a little over that, and THAT'S when I'm worried about it the most

I'm confused by your concern. Did you not have your car dyno tuned? Did your tuner have any concerns with your fuel pressure? The pump you have in your car should be a LPE unit if you purchased it from Racetronix, which like you stated, is good for 600 HP. Do you currently have a BAP on your car? If not, has your tuner ever suggested it? What is your current fuel pressure, and does it drop on the dyno?

When I had it dyno tuned, with N2O at 1150psi we could not get the AFR below 12+ even thought we went up 8 steps with the fuel jets. We thought at the time that it was either a dirty filter, or a slightly crimped fuel feed line (I was afraid it pinched during the FAST intake install.) Now that I look at the rating on the LPE pump (if it's the same as you say) I may know why it couldn't keep up while spraying the 150's
At the time I purchased the racetronixs pump, I was thinking the hp rating was much higher I guess not.
Haven't thought about a boost a pump because I didn't think I would need it. For now, I just want to get a "dependable" pump in the car so I won't have a fear of it leaving me beside the road.

What was the duty cycle of the injectors on the dyno? What fuel pressure ? Also, you said the cheapest you could find was $350, A&A offers the LPE pump kit for $289.

I'm not sure of the duty cycle or pressure. The injectors should be find, because I'm only at 414 NA, and the kit is a wet kit, so it shouldn't max the injectors. The tuner (a BIG TIME tuner in Florida) didn't share the pressure; We just kept bumping the jets until we determined we must have another issue (filter or line)
The only pumps I had found were complete kits. I went to the A & A site and found it. I guess I will try one more time and see how long it last
