Default Using BG 44k

I'm going to add a can of BG 44k to a tank of gas for carbon treatment as regular maintenance and was just wondering, do I have to change my oil after doing this?
I've read where you should change your oil rightafter using other products like Seafoam, etc.

Thanks,
R

I also prefer BG44K. If you are adding it to the fuel tank, no need to change the oil. If you siphon it into the intake manifold, then yes, you should change the oil (some even suggest checking/changing the plugs if you do it this way)..

No need to change the oil. I have run BG44K in all my cars for years as regular mainenance every 7500mi to prevent carbon buildup. I have an 01 Acura TL with 105,000 miles and never had a check engine light or fuel related issue. Car runs like a swiss watch. I put a can in my Vette every year when I do my oil and filter change. I only put about 2500mi per year on my Vette but so far so good. BG has great products and excellent flush equipment. As you know, you can only get this suff from professional shops.

Put a can in at normal fillup. Do it when you know you will be doing a lot of stop and go type driving. I hear it works better than if you pour it in and go on a long trip. Short trips allows the product to soak into the carbon and break it up. Good luck with it.

Good stuff. Been using it for years and never had and injector or cat issue. Never even replaced and exhaust.
