Unfortunately I've had my first accident in a car and I've totalled my '00 Nassau Blue FRC. Very sad week.
Anyways, I'm considering trying to buy it back from my insurance company but not sure how to part out a car. My main question is what do I do with the 'carcass' once I've removed all the usable parts? Since it's fiberglass I wouldn't imagine the normal scrap metal places would take it.
The car has some really nice parts on it that I think the only way I can recoup any of my money is to part it out.
First of all, glad you're ok and sorry about your vette. Lots of racers are looking for salvage cars. If you have or can get pictures, someone may be interested in making a track car out of it.
