Help: Shift Light Install
I have an MSD digital shift light that has 3 wires, two for + and - and one for tach signal that I can either splice in or use the supplied GMR pickup to clamp it onto the positive wire of any of the coils and set the shift light for 1 cyl. operation.
Now which + and coil wire (color?) should I use in the engine bay? Thanks in advance.

Yeah. electrical, especially when working on our babies, leave me apphrehensive! Thank's to all the folks that are far more qualified than I, that come on w/ these helpfull posts. On the splice, I used an electrical splice clamp. You will find them in the auto electric aisle @ K, Wall marts and Auto zone etc. They are made to where you slide the wires togeather inside this clip and sqeeze it togeather. Then when your sure that the connection is good, wrap w/ electrical tape Good luck.
