Removing the Front Bumper Inserts?
How involved is it to remove the front bumper inserts - the dull black plastic inserts that surround the fog lights on a 2001. For repair/replacement.

Can easily be done from lower front access panel . There are four small self tapping bolts that hold them to the back of the front fasia. There is a clip that holds the wire for the side marker and that just pops out. I really would not remove the front bumper no need to .Now would be the time to install your fog lights if not equipped . I have harnesses lights and switches available .Tell your buds .Good luck with your repair

It would be wise to do a search on this. If you are handy with various projects, it will not be a problem. Otherwise it can be a real pain!
In the search you will see those who have simply cut out or drilled out holes in them. I did that originally and it came out real good. Later I installed my Vararam and now have air scoops in those locations.
