Default Will a low air pressure warning affect tune?

I change rear tires from time to time and one set doesn't have the monitors in them so I sometimes show a low tire warning even though its not the case.
My question is this warning even after I reset and clear it off will it affect the car any other way? Such as reduced power, etc?
Thanks for the help.

If the sensor was actually reading a low (flat) pressure it would reduce vehicle speed to 55mph. With no sensor, the system is just alerting you that it is not communicating with the sensor but will not limit speed.

If the set with the sensors are stored close to where the car is parked, and one of them has low pressure, it will be picked up by the RFA, and show "low pressure" on the DIC. That is even if they are not on the car, but within range of the RFA.

Yes this could happen on the 2001 – 2004 years. On these years the sensors go into stationary (sleep) mode when not rotating but do wake up every 60 minutes to transmit. Once rotating, they transmit every 60 seconds.

On 1997 – 2000 cars, the sensors only transmit when above 10 – 15 mph. When stationary for more than 1 minute, the sensors enter a power down or sleep mode and stop transmitting tire pressure information.

Thanks. I understand why I'm getting the low pressure readings. What I need to know is if when I get this reading weather actual or reading the tire thats not on the car will it affect the tune like power reduction or pull timing or what ever because it thinks I have a low or flat tire?

Also is there a way to disable this feature without a tuning program?

No, and it can only be tuned out on 2001-2004 C5's.

The top speed limiter will change when "Flat Tire" is displayed, limiting speed to 55 MPH.
