Which gears are the stoutest?

Which gears are the stoutest?
Is there any strength difference between, say- 4.56 s and 2.73 s? Due to the size of the pinion gear and/or ring gear tooth thickness? Basically, Is one a clearly stronger set?

As stated the lower number gears, 2.73s are stronger than the higher gears, 3.73s and so forth. There are fewer teeth on the lower gears and the root of the gear teeth have more area to take the loads. It seems like you see a lot more 4.10 gear failures as one would expect.
