Default C5 Lowering question????

Can someone point me to a thread that explains how to lower the car on the stock bolts without touching the bushings....especially the front...pictures would be nice to. Thanks!

make sure you jack up the leaf spring to take tension off. If the bolt is hard to turn, something is not right and you will end up stripping the bolt. It should turn fairly easy... hope this helps!

try a little pb blaster on th adjuster and the bottom of the rubber bushing helps out lots when turning the 10mm bolt

yes, the rubber bushing will most likely be vulcanized (sp?) to the lower a-arm giving you difficulty in turning it. Once its free, it should spin very easy if there is no pressure on the bolt to the lower arm

put your jack in the Y of the a-arm where you can get to the leaf spring. Use a piece of wood between the jack and leaf spring to protect it
