Just got a new dyno on my car and it is just shy of 500rwhp, has a ls7 clutch, LS2 flywheel, LS6 hydraulics and hooks up great, no chatter, no noise, no vibration, little stiffer than totally stock feel, good street manners, and didn't cost a ton either. Don't know if it would hook up will with 600 at the wheel but it holds strong at 500. Good Luck!

I've been happy with my Textralia Z grip. I have not had a problem with rattles. The clutch feels pretty grabby, but it holds my car with 466rwhp just fine

I'll be doing a Spec 2+ soon(good to 620lb/ft and under $500) and I'll report back with my results.

Spec 2's shift like butter but are like an on/off switch.
You'll need to refine you're launch.

I don't have any chatter or noise with mine. But I am never putting around at under 1500 rpms either. Also mine doesn't feel on/off at all. Now my SPEC twin was a job in traffic. But the Tex is light as a feather and has a nice smooth transition. It seems to rev faster than the others as well. Not sure if it is lighter or not.

I guess i'm not sure what you mean by on/off? I've never experienced that.

On/Off means that there is no slip or play in the clutch. Basically as soon as you slightly let up it grabs. Makes driveability insane.

I personally run a Spec Twin installed by Frans96ss(RPM). This is THE clutch you want if you want stock like feel. It is very light, pretty much just as light as stock. Do not get a spec stage anything, I have driven them before and they are all much more heavy than stock. I think most people that replied to this missed the part when you said as light feeling as possible. The spec twin also is not on/off at all. You can easily glide into first, and you can still roll into first without giving the car any gas at all if you really want. I love the clutch. (in case you didnt notice)

It's expensive, $1400 with the flywheel, but if it does go bad it only cost like 300 bucks and you have a new clutch. They are rated up to 800ft/lbs of torque, so probably close to 1,000rwhp.

i would recommend the z grip textralia clutch if you don't want to spend the money on the exo cel dual. i have drove a car w/ the exo and think it drives fine it's deffinately not stock feeling but is not hard.

Yea, honestly after all these recommendations......I'm gona be at like 575 rwhp with a supercharger... it's not like it's naturally aspirated or something... I will never drag my car ..... I think the textrailia will hold up

X-Grip is supposedly more street friendly than the Z-Grip.

I have the Z-Grip. Lots of chatter and an inconsistent engagement point, but it may be a hydraulics issue rather than the clutch itself.

more than likely is. we have had no issues here w/ any z grip we have installed. as long as you set the clutch correctly when you first drive it you will be fine.

I did the 500 mile break in. I installed a new master and slave and remote bleeder. What was really strange was that I ran out of clutch fluid a couple of months ago. Filled it up, bled it, and it hasn't dropped since.

it's not all about the 500 mile break in. when you first fire up the car it's super important that you heat cycle it. drive the car slowly let out the clutch in the first few gears. not slipping just slower than normal. drive the car around for maybe 10 miles than let the car completely cool down. after that you are good and than do the 500 mile break in.
