my windows stopped working, the car has been sitting in the shop and hase'nt moved... the windows worked a couple weeks back, since then i have had the battery disconnected a few times since the car has main power disconnect switch... locks and mirrors work on both sides...
i need a fuse number since both my fuse boxes are located in the car under the dash now, nothing is under the hood anymore..
i dont think its a bad connection since the car hase'nt been used...
I guess everyone is afraid to touch this one. How did the underhood fuse block get inside the car??? Not sure just a fuse could be your problem. IP Fuse Block fuse #s 30, 31, 33, and 34 feed the door control modules. Now tell us why the underhood fuse block is inside the car, ok?
well i figured out the fuses, all of them are good... as far as the fuse block being inside the car, its a drag car and i replaced the firewall with steel, so while doing that i moved the fuse block inside the car and mounted it up on the inside of the firewall...
i unplugged the door harness's and the one i'll assume the windows work off of has no power in its larger orange wire..
locks and mirrors work, no windows... they worked last month and the car has only been pushed around the shop, not driven......
got it figured out..i had already looked at the prong's in the harness's in the door jamb and they looked fine... after checking the fuses and being on the phone with a friend who is a tech i checked the plugs again and one prong was bent up and must have stopped making contact.... i guess when i looked at it the first time i was not really paying close attention to it...
