Glad you got it out safely. There is a more dangerous way that I used long ago on an now very old car. Its just an FYI when all else fails and everything depends on which way the engine rotates. You can use a breaker-bar that is long enough to reach the ground. Therefore getting it on the bolt, other end on the ground and wedged. Disconnecting coil or in our case, coil packs, then touch the starter. If the engine's rotational direction is correct, there's a ton more torque there out of the starter. But, be prepared to suffer other damage to yourself or your car if you run that starter for more than part of a second. Frankly, its way too dangerous to even consider but when all else fails....

Here is a handy item for removing high torque bolts from Harbor Freight. You can use a 3/8 ratchet and still remove the center bolt as well as tightening it to 140 deg specs. Hardest thing to remember is to turn the ratchet the opposite way as the nut turns.
