Console Lubrication?
Not really a "tech" question, but I figured you guys would know.
I took off the center console to fix the lighter socket, which unscrewed. Before putting it all back, I wanted to lubricate some of the touch points where you get creaks and squeaks....
What should I use? I was thinking a microthin layer of silicone grease, but that stuff is supposed to dry out vinyl moulding?
Any help?

About you need to do is the hinge......a drop of any light oil will do 9there are about 6 or so different points you can do on that hinge) I used Marvel Mystery Oil

Thanks. I should've also said around the trim/faceplate panel around the radio/AC where the cigarette lighter is. Mine squeaks in there, too.
