Question About shifter
I have recently installed a Hurst shifter in my 2004 corvette and it is a lot louder and has more vibration then the stock shifter. What is the best shifter for a C5 for street & track?. Would a C6 Zo6 shifter work in the C5? Also when shifting high RPM's the clutch pedal stays almost down to the floor. My car has a cam & some bolt on and put 405 to the wheels on dyno. Some people are telling me that i have to much HP for the stock clutch,and when the clutch slips the pedal will stay at the floor.Other people say the clutch master cylnder is the problem. Please give me some feed back because i don't want to spend money on parts i don't need.
