Vert owners how do you:
open the trunk manually....I took the battery out to do some work and dont want to put it in just to open the trunk? :confused:

As far as I know, you need to be fairly small to do it. Put your top up, lean your seat forward and squeeze into trunk. There is a manual release pull right under the latch mechanism.
One hint, take a flashlight. :)

I have done this -- once you pull the release for the cover, it is not too hard to find the pull for the trunk.
Don't forget to close one before openig the other all the way up.

I tied a piece of cord to the metal release wire after the auto release broke.I'm too big to reach in for the metal pull.

No secret...just doing a few things and wanted to change to a yellow top Optima.
Also plugs LS6 intake new amp and have my hood off to put the new one on....getting it back from the paint shop on Monday or Tuesday
