Random Tech has a few options for the C5 (2000 - 2002). However, I do not understand why it is "X-Pipe System"...? Is it meant so that you HAVE TO add an x-pipe to your existing/custom exhaust?
Can someone w/ these hi-flow cats shine some light? If you ordered the RT unit, did you use the specific one for C5 or just the universal one?

Here's what's available for 2000-2002 C5s:
00-02
5.7L
Stainless DualCat 2-3/4" X-Pipe System

Personally, if I were to install hi-flo cats on my car, I'd go with CarSound cats. They flow better than the Random Techs and they're constructed from 100% stainless steel unlike the RTs which are aluminized steel. CarSound is the parent company of MagnaFlow, the exhaust system manufacturer.
The Random Technology system for the C5 replaces your entire intermediate exhaust pipes and bolts to the headers in the front and your exhaust in the rear. The cool thing about this is you can keep your stock intermediate pipes in tact, if you or a future owner wanted to change the car back to stock.
Or, if you don't want to pay for the whole system with intermediate pipes and X-pipe, you can just buy the high-flow cats from Random Technology and have a muffler shop weld them in.

The Random Technology system for the Corvette IS Stainless Steel.

I have the 3" barrel cats welded in. They are beautiful. Fit is no problem. They are lighter than the stock cats and have great flow nbrs. They are 3" in and out so the muffler shop will have to go 2 1/2 to 3 in and vice versa. Make sure you find a shop that does cutome work.
