I was driving my car slowly out of my hood and my drivers wheel started pulling. I can not see anything wrong behind the wheel but, truly I cant see behind the wheel very well. The wheel does not turn left or right when the other does. My question is. Does this sound like a tie rod and are there any ideas on cost.
Jack the car up and turn the wheel/tire. If it doesn't turn then make sure the emergency brake is not on. Remove the tire and wheel if it turns and inspect.

What does the emergency brake have to do with the steering?
FYI - just had my tie-rods replaced, right side was worn out and failed NC inspection. It's expensive, parts are $142 (Dealer) each but you can get them from Gene Culley, a vendor on this forum for around $108. You'll also have to have a wheel alignment. Due to the timing, I had to have the stealership do it
