radiator leaking how hard to remove
my slightly used dewitts radiator is seeping form somewhere.....drats. Tom has offered to repair.
But, i gotta remove it, how hard is it to get out. I wanna leave th hood one. I see the rad coming out the top and the fans going out the bottom. I have a lift.
any tricks i need to know, Please help guys,
this sucks.

You do not need to remove the surge tank.
You may find you have to lift the fans to get them off the hooks on the radiator and then pivot the drivers side down while lifting the passenger side out. This gets the left fan around the ABS modules.
Pull the A/C condenser up from the hooks on the radiator and then slide it forward. The radiator will lift right out then. Best to have another person helping as things get awkward when you are lifting the radiator from just one side.
You will leave some flesh behind when trying to get the wiring disconnected.

my garage is so cold,, my hand will be numb,,,
I will wrap my sway bar,, as I just painted them and dont wanna scratch then,,lol
well,,,,we will tackle this over xmas vacation,
wish me luck, I'm going in ,,,,lol,, looks pretty simple. I am replacing the xmas trees on the shroud with well nuts, and doing some major detailing. I found that the shop who installed it got the rubber mounts on the radiator all bunched up,,,got them all cleaned and straighted,,,
hope I can find a box to send it back,,
