Mod installation starts tomorrow..small ? to ask...
Finally! I am working on the 99 FRC tomorrow, installing a Blackwing, Tbyrne Maf ends 75mm ( blue to match car ), WCC power duct & coupler. Do I need to do anything to the MAF? I don't race the car. Currently I have B&B PRT's. Soon install x-pipe, Hurst shifter, hood seal ( keep engine compartment cleaner), TBB tube, thermostat & fan controller, & NGK TR55's. Have I made the right choices for bolt-on HP., or what else do I need to buy? :D Thanks as always! to the best Corvette lovers..The Forum folks!

I put a MAF on my car and just drove it. The PCM adjusts over time. Some people disconnect the battery for a few minutes to reset the PCM and perform a learn cycle on the PCM. Look on the forum.
Watch how the car runs because the '99s run leaner than the '98s and may have problems with the MAF ends. Search the forum for this.

Your on the right track! As long as your replacing the plugs(NGK55's-Good choice) perhaps you should consider upgrading to the Taylor Hot 8mm wires too. They look great in red so they dress up the engine and they spark better. Not a big investment :D
