Default Turn Signals Don't Work

So i just installed my HUD today and put everything back together. Well i went to check all the electronics and the only thing that doesn't work is my turn signals. I checked my hazards and they work and all the turn signals light up. My high and low beams work on the same switch as the turn signals.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Check easy things first, fuses #15 and #8 in instrument pannel fuse block.

Is there another fuse box besides the one under the hood? I was looking around for the turn signal fuse and couldn't find it under the hood. I thought i heard something about a fuse box on the passenger side?

Yes, it's in passenger footwell. Remove floor mat, then remove panel (2 flip clips).

Be sure to check your blinker fluid! J/K

Seriously though, did you have a model without the HUD and decide to install one yourself or did you just replace an existing fauly unit?

Default Fuses

Well i checked the fuses and they seem fine. My instrument cluster was already hud compatable so i just hooked everything up. Everything seems to work just fine except for the turn signals.

We can't assume a fuse seems fine, it's either good or it's bad.

Pull the fuses and check with a continuity checker to verify they are good or just replace them.

Well i went out there after checking the fuses and i tried the hazard lights just for the heck of it and they didn't work. Well i kept pushing them on and off and they eventually came back, somewhat. Then i tried my turn signals and they work fine. So now its just my hazard lights working (sometimes).

Well....it's better than what i had.

Sounds like a bad hazzard switch, which is a common enough problem. Have the same problem in my bro's 2001 Z06.

I ordered the parts from Gene at gmpartshouse.com.
