Guys,
I hear what i think is a vaccum leak in my C5. It has the dual zone climate control system and i took it apart to look for said leak. I got the entire dash apart and can't find it anywhere.
Is there more than one place that vaccume come into the cab besides the passenger footwell. I can disconnect the inlet in the wireing harness and the noise still stays.
I am starting to think that what i am hearing is the intake nose, and that there isn't really a vaccume leak. Any help will be appreciated.
That hose goes to the back of the intake, common issue for this to become disconnected especially if you've had the intake off and forgot to reconnect it. If the vents open and close CORRECTLY, it's most likely not your problem.

the all appear to work. I disconnected the inlet to that valve block so none of them were getting any vaccume and the noise is still present. All of the doors appear to work fine.
Just had this problem with my 2000 C-5, the problem was the vacuum motor that changed the vent position, (floor, defrost, vent etc). My made the vacuum leak noise. Replaced the vacuum motor, fixed the problem.

where is this at?
Is it tied to the intake somewhere?
on mine, the door didn't quite close all the way, and sounded like a vacuum leak. readjusted everything by loosening all the screws and clips, brackets, slightly shifting everything. then tightened it all back up.
