I need help with this Little part
this is driving me nuts ..It just happened yesterday and I Cant stand it if it was any other car i will just Duct tape it and call it a day
but not on my vette
Can I just just take it apart and fix it or I can just order it and replace it .whats the part Number

I would take it apart, clean and lube it and reinstall before replacing.
From my parts manual - part number is 10275633, Fuel tank filler door lock actuator (includes fuel door release lever). This is a subassembly so cost will be significantly more than just the little latch alone. That is not available separately. You might find a used one in good shape if your's is fubar.

A couple of years ago someone posted that they had the same issue and discovered the spring had rusted and broken. They found a replacement spring and made the DIY repair...
