Default Replacing Coupe Hatch Glass?

Has anyone ever needed to replace the coupe glass hatch? Some of my hatch's defroster lines were scraped and not working- I think it had window tint before and when the tint was removed it was scraped off. I repaired it with the conductive "defroster repair" paint kits but to me it looked rough and unprofessional. Then I got the car tinted again and in the process of tinting it, some of the lines don't work again.

I'm considering buying used glass with a good defroster, getting it profesionally installed by a glass company and having it retinted, then selling my old glass. Anyone have to do this before? No, I'm not going to punch a hole in the rear glass and commit insurance fraud either.

Or as an alternative, does anybody know if anyone offers professional defroster line repairing?

Not a huge deal but it's one of those little things that drives me nuts when I go to use the defrost and a few lines don't work...

Hi Eric,

I have a complete rear hatch off of a 2001 coupe that I am selling $300 for the complete unit.

Everything works.
