Default A/C problem after engine work

I just did a cam swap, heads and intake manifold in my 98 C5. My ac was running fine for a day then I woke up the next morning and it was blowing hot air... Anyone have a clue of what's goin on with my car?

Yeah, your A/C isn't working

Come on bro, provide some info: Is the compressor engaging? Can you switch the air flow from feet, vents, etc. Auto or manual climate control, etc..

Your sig is not filled out, so I have no idea where you live to determine if ambient temp is a concern(provided you have auto climate control).

You could possibly need to purchase an ac recharge kit from the local auto zone type shop or your shop damaged your ac line, or you have the heater turned on, or your out side air temperature sensor is failing and thinking it is 30 degree outside you should be able to see the outside air temp in your car to determine if that is the issue.

First things first...check the obvious. Pop the hood and see if the belt is still there. If it isn't then your problem is solved. If the belt is intact then go inside the vehicle and turn on the a/c. Is the little green light on the A/C button on? Solid or flashing? If it's off or flashing your compressor is either not kicking on or there's not enough refrigerant pressure. If that's the case, it would be time to take it to a mechanic or a/c specialist.

Frankly, seeing as how you just paid a shop to do some serious engine work that cost you a couple grand I'd call them and see if they can take a look at it. Good luck...

Sorry I didn't explain in detail... but I did all of the work with another Corvette guy whos built plenty of them. Belt is there, I just replaced it. Light is still on all the time consistent, not flashing. How do I tell if the compressor is working?

Two lines on the back of the compressor. One is HOT, one is ICE COLD.

It flew up and hit my tps and ripped some nitrous stuff off it, also broke the clip. Now when I floor it the car dies, I hope that's just because I haven't had it tuned yet.
