PCM removal
Due to a leaking battery I need to remove the PCM on my 98 ,so I can clean the frame and PCM.
Did a search and removal looks easy.
However I have one concern.
When I reinstall the same PCM is there any special procedure that needs to be follwed when I restart the car?

No worry, though. I was able to buy a replacement from the local dealer if under $20.
It is just that my car is a 99, and the PCM had never been removed. Yours being a 98 with battery acid on it may be stuck too! Be careful, and have a backup plan!
As for anything else, no, nothing special has to be done. just make sure you disconnect the battery before you start!
