Default Help TPS Ques

If I put a set of wheels & tires on my '04 and do not install the Pressure Sensors in the new wheels, will I run any Codes in the DIC or have any problems with Competitive Mode, Active Handling or Traction Control enabling?

Anything else I need to be aware of by doing this? The new tires are not runflats.

All reply replies are much appreciated!

You'll undoubtedly get a message...service tire moniter system, but you can reset that each time it comes up... or have it tuned out...all functions should be unaffected by having no tps's.

Other than resetting the message each time you start the car you will not have any issues. The C5 was designed and completed production before the government got involved in mandating TPS systems on cars. The C6s got hit with that stupid way of enforcing the government's will on car buyers. Ah, if only Ford hadn't told people to run the tire pressure lower on the Explorers and used a tire that couldn't stand the operating conditions that put them in we wouldn't have the government trying to save us from ourselves again.
