YeloFevr. Is your hair over my cost for the spring part or also includes labor? Thank you.
I have a pair of Z51 springs I can sell for $275.00 shipped. $750.00 is out of control for just one spring.
It's not that hard to change yourself. You just need a decent jack and jackstands.
I would almost bet your spring is cracked. Everytime I see a post like this it is stock springs. Generally they crack and would not recommend replacing with the same. The Z51 or Z06 springs are more rigid and seem to be stronger.
Wick C5, my C5 has the Real-time dampening system (Tour/Sport/Performance). Would a Z51 spring affect that system? Plus, how much stiffer a ride would there be Tour mode? I prefer the softer ride on the freeways and have Sport/Performance modes if in the twisties. Thanks.
lionelhutz, thanks for the suggestion, but I really don't need a Z06 version. I'm not a racer. I just want stock that doesn't make my frame bottom out in and out of drive-ways. But thanks...I'm not there...I like the smooth ride of my C5, with the occassional Sport/Performance capabilities in the twisties.
I meant to just post asking for stock springs. You can't have my Z06 springs

It would be stiffer but IMO still drive quite nice. Handling will be greatly improved and your chance that would happen again would be less. Sooner or later your going to have F45 suspension and make the decision to spend $2,000 or dump it for $400.00
