Need specs for TT bushing?
I have a buddy that can machine billet torque tube bushings for me. I need the specs for these things? He says he thinks it is 12mm thick but not completely sure. Anyone know?

Looks like they have some quality control issues with those things. I see a few posts saying they got inferior items from them. Doesnt inspire alot of confidence ya know.

Cajun,
What's the story on your bushings? How old are they? Did you buy from BMW or another vendor?
Okay now I get it.............just looked at your profile. You are an engineer, you smart guys always got an answer. We are really lucky to have you
Oh, I wouldn't go that far.... I just screw around a lot. I'm not poking fun at your misfortune.....but man..that clutch is just gone.... I hope you get it resolved quickly.
If I lived close, I would gladly give you a hand.....

Actually you are poking fun at it and although it pisses me off it is not you, it is the inferior clutch. I dont think a $1000 clutch should burn up from two 7 second burn outs. I just wonder how all the other M6/M12 vette guys do it 100 times and have no issues. I do it twice and have a flatened clutch disc.

P.S.- Pray you dont break something and get pissed about it. I will be there.

Yeah it sucks to break crap. The bushings look beat.
the 97 -2000 TT had 10mm and the 2001 -2004 had 12mm. You can a set from LG or BPP for $130 each.
