MSD RPM Window Switch
Hi guys,
The used MSD RPM Windows Switch that I've bought didn't come with instruction. I've read somewhere that we have to get this unit programmed before it can be used. Is it correct? How about the two Red and Blue loops? Do we have to cut either one for our car?
Thanks

No programming needed. The Mallory unit is fully adjustable and the MSD operates on pill kits. I have the 3000 and 5800 pills in my MSD. Cut the red and blue wires so it is in 4-cylinder mode.

If you run it in 4 cyl mode.. Do you still hook it up to the #10 pin?

You have to cut em as the LS1 has to run the MSD switch i the 4-cylinder mode.

Yes, what everyone else said....cut the two wires (red and blue) as to make it think it is a 4 cyl. The white #10 wire is the correct wire.
