Do they fit? I know the C6 Z51 sways are a direct replacement for the C5, i just want to make sure the Z06 sways will fit on my C5Z. I want to upgrade my suspension to C6Z shocks and C6 sways. i was going to go with the Z51 sways but I've got the opportunity to get some lightly used C6Z06 sways.
Is it recommended to replace the end links when replacing the sways?
The Z06 shocks will work, but I believe the front sway is straight and there needs to be a dip in the bar to clear I believe the radiator? Someone else on the front sway??
So, assume these are all made from about the same material and their resistance to twisting approximately scales with diameter. Then, looking at those diameters, you are basically adding a lot more rear swaybar to your car in proportion to the front swaybar change and will likely end up with over steer (ie the rear end will slide out first).
But then, what do I know, well besides the fact that over steer makes a car tricky to drive?
I have the C6 Z06 sways front and rear and '08 Z06 shocks. Didn't have any issues. If you're going with the shocks, I'd recommend making sure you get '08 Z06 shocks. They redesigned the rear shocks for '08 and I hear it was a vast improvement
