Default C5 Washer Pump windsheild

I own a 97 C5 i have a washer fluid leak under the cowl on the driver's side I ran my hand underneath and discovered two rubber pouches that were split open, this seems to be where the leak is. Does anyone know about this issue? The squirtters are barely working. Please help.

What you are feeling are drains for the cowl area. We call them "udders" here on the forum because they resemble cow udders (I know, we're strange).

Also, be aware that the washer lines leak onto the windshield under hard acceleration. There is a TSB out on this. GM installs a check valve in the washer line to eliminate the problem.

You also want to make sure to keep your udders cleaned out. If not you will have issues with your wiper motor. BEFORE TAKING YOUR WIPER TRANSMISSION OFF it is a one time shot. You take it off and the plastic piece on the transmission will not stay on the wiper motor. There is a thread here about that and I gave an alternative method to buying a new transmission.
